Avinti iSolation Server
The Avinti iSolation Server is the first proactive behavior based e-mail security product designed to prevent email based MalWare from infecting your network. Since the iSolation server is not signature or pattern based, it quarantines unknown MalWare and Zero Day viruses before they can wreak havoc on your infrastructure.
The software solution resides on a hardened server between the network gateway and the e-mail server. Simple text e-mails and those without active content are readily sped through to their destination. If e-mail is identified to have active content such as an executable attachment, the e-mail may be delivered to Avinti's virtual desktop environment. If opening the attachment triggers unusual activity such as an attempt to access the Microsoft Outlook address book or any number of abnormal and potentially malicious behaviors, the iSolation Server immediately quarantines the message. The entire process takes seconds, and the "deja vu" filter ensures that the same evaluation process is not required for identical e-mail attacks.
